Antique Chinese Qing Blue & White Porcelain Double Happiness Wedding Ginger Jar

This antique Chinese Qing Dynasty blue and white porcelain wedding jar features an allover design of scrolling floral vines with bold Double Happiness symbols, a traditional motif associated with marriage, joy, and good fortune. The baluster-form vessel is finished with a Greek key border encircling the opening and bears a four-character Chenghua mark in underglaze blue to the underside. A detailed example of Chinese blue and white porcelain with a combination of symbolism and floral decoration.
