Antique Wedgwood Majolica Match Striker Ashtray - Fish Feet Tortoise Glaze

Antique Wedgwood majolica match striker and ashtray set featuring a striking bowl raised on three sculpted fish-form feet. The tortoiseshell majolica glaze displays rich mottled tones, complemented by a reticulated rim and a removable ribbed striker top used for lighting matches. Pieces of this type were produced by Wedgwood in England during the majolica revival period and served as decorative table accessories for smoking or match storage.
