Antique Early Southern Stoneware Whiskey Jug Albany Slip Glaze Monogram Crock

Antique Southern stoneware whiskey jug featuring a classic utilitarian form with rich Albany slip glaze to the shoulder and upper body. The jug displays wonderful early primitive character with hand-applied handle, impressed “C F H” marking to the front, and a warm naturally aged surface throughout. A strong decorative example of 19th century American country stoneware that presents beautifully in primitive and folk art collections.
